Portrait Maddona 704 10 x 14 x 0.1 inches (26 x 36 x 0.1 cm) Acrylic on Stretched Canvas Board

Optical motion psychedelic Lenticular is the name given because of the abstraction combination added to the portrait. Optical motion is the name for visual patterns that seem to move when stared at, and Lenticular are those old football cards used to sale which seem to show movement when the card was looked at a different angle. That's where my idea has come from, but have adapted to my own artistic vision.
Colour is used instead of just black lines. Hidden tattoos symbols are added on the tongue which complement the portrait's character. It was experimented first with waves and other geometric lines.  Decided to keep the lines simple for now. I had to experiment with added fillers and finished being able to slide the paint onto the dried artwork underpainting. You also need to be brave in what seem to be coving your hard work with thick paint which looks like, to any viewer, is being destroyed. No, reborn into something more artistic and special.
The overall look and feel is quirky but interesting. Only Acrylic paint is used, as using oils in the portrait, although it would give a more lifelike impression, I wanted a more animated A.I. look. In fact, I quite like a more abstract illustrated fantasy portrait which is more comic aspired than traditional. It's a lively and fun painting in a square format with sides painted, bright and colourful. Textured and dramatic play of form, shades, light interact and play to add life and movement, complementing the juxtapositions of shape and form.
Thick and lush paint has a unique dimensional abstract quality
