Abstract Expressionism Missing In Action 5394 24 x 18 x 0.5 inches (60 x 46 x 2 cm) Mixed Media on Stretched Canvas.

The use of the term, Missing In Action, is a deliberate departure from other usual abstract names. Instead, you focus on emotional impact and personal experiences, not just visual texture and colour.
Abstract expresstion, in my work, is used to create depth and a strong visual difference. The goal is to encourage viewers to confront their own feelings. The treatment of colours as characters, engaging in silent yet profound conversation. This personification suggests a narrative within the work, where chaos is embraced to create meaning.

A strong case for the impact of small-scale abstract art is that size doesn't diminish the emotional power, intuitive energy, or expressive detail of the work. You see these smaller pieces as an accessible entry point for new collectors and a powerful way to introduce colour, texture, and emotion into any small space. Fractured paintings are unique to my own language of communication, emotional communication using colour and texture to bypass intellectual analysis, aiming instead for a direct emotional connection. Encouraging individuals to confront their feelings in a personal way. Colours are treated as characters, engaging in silent yet profound conversation. Embraces chaos to create profound meaning. Fragmented imagery convey disjointed dissociative experiences. Abstract psychology is presented as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind, allowing for unique exploration of human experience.

Each piece is created with the same intuitive energy and expressive detail as my larger works, offering a powerful way to bring excitement, colour, and texture into your home or office, elevating any space, from a quiet corner to a hall where space is limited. Small Abstract art doesn’t mean less impactful.
